David Evans provided the Health and Safety policy and documentation plus overnight Production Management for this Sadler’s Wells Slow Dance project.  David Michalek’s magnificent moving-image installation Slow Dancing, part of The T-Mobile Big Dance in Trafalgar Square and Village Underground in Shoreditch.

In this series of larger-than-life, hyper-slow motion video portraits, 50 dancers and choreographers were individually shot on a specially constructed set using a high-speed, high-definition camera recording at 1,000 frames per second. Each short movement phrase is played back in 10 minutes of extreme slow motion, which enables the viewer to see the complexity of the movement.
