Sharjah is the third largest Emirate in the United Arab Emirates.

Sharjah Theatres Group is a government run company - a collection of seven venues - three flagship venues in the city of Sharjah itself, plus four community theatres across the Emirate of Sharjah.

Theatrical Solutions worked with the newly appointed Creative Director in 2009 to assess all the venues, the staff and the potential for international programming.

We provided venue reports for all seven of their venues and prepared a skeleton training programme for staff.  We also made recommendations for international touring prospects and initiated discussions with various companies.
